Welcome to Ms. Hoffmann's First Grade
Hi, my name is Katherine Hoffmann. I grew up in Olympia and went to school at L.P. Brown, Jefferson, and Capital. I graduated with my Master in Teaching Degree from Evergreen in 2016. I have been teaching first grade at Garfield since 2016 and I love it!
Some of my interests include: reading, drawing and painting, singing, playing the piano, learning interesting and weird facts, and spending time with my friends, family, and dog.
I believe in life-long learning and that everyone can and does learn. I also believe in the power of building community and a safe-space for all students to learn and do their best.
