PTA Notes:

Hi Garfield Community!

We had a great time participating in the Procession of the Species last weekend! Thanks to everyone who came out to participate and to cheer us on! We also had a fun and productive garden work party with kale, lemonade, time with friends and neighbors, and the satisfaction of pulling LOTS of weeds!

We have so many fun events coming up, it's hard to believe how fast the year is going!

May Events

Annual Fundraiser

We're kicking off our annual fundraiser! Garfield PTA works hard to bring educational and enrichment opportunities to all Garfield students, and to host events that strengthen our community. Your donations make this possible!

Our annual fundraiser is a simple ask for donations, with no product sales or participation time.

If you are able, please donate here by May 22. Another option is to set up a recurring monthly donation of $5 or more and support us throughout the year - click here to set up a monthly donation and choose "Donate" and "Monthly" at the top of our page.

2026-2027 Board Positions

We had a great response to our recent call for PTA Board Positions for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. We are still looking for someone willing to serve as Treasurer. This role manages funds, reviews our budget, and is responsible for payments, taxes, and insurance. Please reply to this email or reach out to any board member for more information!

More information is attached in our May Newsletter!

With Gratitude,
